Man Claimed to Have Weapon in Mansfield Bank Robbery, Report Says

PNC Bank on Route 57 robbed Tuesday morning.

A PNC Bank located on Route 57 in Mansfield Township was robbed shortly before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to a published report.

A man came into the bank, located just beyond the Hackettstown border, and handed a note to the teller saying he had a weapon, according to the Lehigh Valley Times. No weapon was seen, however, the article said.

The man was seen leaving on foot, but police are looking for a four-door black BMW 328i with tinted windows and no license plate, which may be related to the robbery, according to the Lehigh Valley Times.

Mansfield Police said the Warren County Prosecutor's Office will release more information later on Tuesday.
