The National Night Out will be held on Aug. 6 at the pool field, next to the community field, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. In the event of rain, the event will be bumped to Aug. 7. Hackettstown police said they would share more information as the event comes closer. National Night Out is an annual event held by local police departments to foster good community relationships, and give the public the chance to interact with police in a positive circumstance. Common Night Out activities include cookouts, touch-a-truck events, and more.
