• Wreaths Across America Helps Phillipsburg Pay Tribute To Veterans Laid to Rest at Local Cemeteries (tapinto.net) — Hackettstown residents are represented in the same legislative district as Phillipsburg, whose leaders joined hundreds of volunteers to honor veterans with more than 800 wreaths at Fairmount Cemetery. The Wreaths Across America ceremony remembered local service members, especially the “Sons of Phillipsburg” lost in Vietnam, and organizers are already planning next year’s wreath sponsorships and volunteer efforts.
   

• Fleeing Driver Sentenced to 18 Years in State Prison for Fatal Warren County Crash (tapinto.net) — A lifelong Hackettstown resident and Navy veteran, 76-year-old motorcyclist Michael Ceddia, was killed in 2024 when a fleeing driver crashed into his bike on County Road 521 in Warren County. The Pennsylvania man responsible has now been sentenced to 18 years in state prison, following an investigation overseen by the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office.
