$9K Big Dog Motorcycle Stolen in Mt. Olive

An investigation is underway into the theft of a motorcycle at Eagle Rock Apartments on Cassedy Road in Mt. Olive last Saturday morning, according to police.

A Mt. Olive Police Department statement said officers were called to the scene at about 11 a.m. on a report of a stolen motorcycle. The owner of the bike described the vehicle as a black 2003 Big Dog "Pit Bull" model valued at approximately $9,000.

The man told the officers he believed the motorcycle was stolen from where it was parked on Cassedy Road sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.
