Shooting for Safety Basketball Game Benefits Hatchery Hill Families

The sixth annual event will be held Friday night at Hackettstown High School.

The sixth annual Shooting for Safety basketball game will benefit two Hatchery Hill kindergarten families.

The game will be held Friday at the Hackettstown High School's new gym at 6:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.

The proceeds will benefit one Hatchery Hill student's dad who is battling brain cancer and another student's mom who has breast cancer.

The Hackettstown Middle School faculty, the seventh and eighth grade middle school students and members of the Hackettstown Police Department will participate in the sixth annual game.

The cost is $5 for each adult, $3 for each child over 5 years old and children under 5 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

The eighth grade will be running a concession stand.
