WARREN COUNTY, NJ — Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out this list of goings-on in Warren County, where there’s a focus on having fun over what will be a long holiday weekend for some, as the country celebrates Independence Day and July 4th, beginning on Friday and running through the remainder of the weekend.

Fourth of July Festivities
There are Independence Day happenings throughout Warren County and the region over the entire weekend, with several fireworks displays, Blairstown Fourth, duck races, parades, festivals, an orange crate derby and more. Check out all the great happenings here.

Food And Music At Farm Friday
Head over to Little Ridge Vineyards on 670 Ridge Road in Phillipsburg/Harmony Township for wine, music and food, where they’re hosting the first Farm Friday with a barbecue by Angry Chourico BBQ from 5 to 9 p.m. and live music with Scott Messina from 5 to 8 p.m. Check here for more info.

Grandparents’ Weekend On The Sunflower Trail
VonThun Farm on 438 Route 57 in Washington is hosting a special Grandparents’ Weekend event on its New Jersey Sunflower Trail on both Saturday and Sunday. One grandparent gets in free with a paid admission to enjoy the farm’s trail, take a hayride, go raspberry picking, spend time with the farm’s animals, take pictures and visit the Empanada Lady for something to eat. Visit The Midsummer Herb Festival
Stop to Well-Sweep Herb Farm at 205 Mount Bethel Road in Port Murray to celebrate Parsley at the farm’s 32nd Midsummer Herb Festival. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., there are tours and events throughout the day. Check out the 73 different lavenders at the farm too, see vendors, listen to music throughout the day and more. Shop At A Farmer’s Market
Warren County has several community farmers' markets that have begun making their weekly appearances for the season, as well as the multitude of local farm stores, with their own markets throughout the county, with local produce, meats, dairy, honey and other items.
The Warren County Farmers Market is on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Saturday through Sept. 26, at the White Township School at Routes 46 and 519, with local farmers and artisans out with produce, baked goods, products, live music and more. Visit their Facebook Page for details.
The Blairstown Farmers Market at 5 Stillwater Road is also on every Saturday through October 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Various farms and other sellers are there weekly with produce, pickles, gourmet mushrooms, empanadas, baked goods, pasta, honey and other items.

Wine And Beer Tastings, Plus Other Special Events

Mama’s Café Baci on 260 Mountain Avenue in Hackettstown is planning on a full entertainment lineup this weekend, where guests can grab a drink in the cafe or outdoor garden. On Friday, George Baier will be there from 7 to 10 p.m., Saturday is Faded Genes from 7:30 to 10 p.m. with acoustic sounds from the 70s through the 90s, with George Baier back again on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m., with hits from the 60s to the present. Enjoy one of the 40 beers on tap, American cuisine and outside seating at the Draught House on 268 Route 31 North in Washington, plus The Big Ones are performing there from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at a 21+ event.
Jersey Girl Brewing at 426 Sand Shores Drive in Hackettstown is readying for the July 4th weekend with pre-packaged four-packs and kegs to celebrate the holiday. They’re opening at 4 p.m. on Friday or stop in Saturday from 1 to 10 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 6 p.m. Find out more here.
Czig Meister Brewing at 106 Valentine Street is ready for the 4th with its own festive brews, including its Berry Blonde with its 4th of July-style can. Read more here about their offerings to-go and their Independence Day weekend hours.
Man Skirt Brewing at 144 Main Street in Hackettstown is closed on the 4th but has its June Bug, a juniper-lime, gin and tonic-style IPA on tap and draft, along with cans to-go. Find out more information here and stock up to celebrate.
