A "British Invasion" and "Music Revolution" are happening in Hackettstown this weekend, with other things to do too, between Aug. 20-22.

Journey Musically Back To The 60s
The 1960s was iconic for its music, with The Beatles a focal piece, a special tribute to them and the entire era, this coming Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m., in two separate shows - one at 5 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m., with the Centenary Stage Company. A benefit for the Hackettstown Rotary Club, musical acts that defined the era will be in the spotlight at the Lackland Performing Arts Center on 715 Grand Avenue. Other artists that will be highlighted in the tribute event include: The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, Dave Clark Five, The Mamas and The Papas, Simon & Garfunkel, The Monkees and more. Solve A Murder Mystery
Grab several meal courses and wine, as well as a magnifying glass to search for clues, during Four Sisters Winery’s Murder Mystery Dinner, on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. For $45 plus tax, enjoy a meal and dessert, along with wines, as well as a tour and souvenir glass. Go To A Teddy Bear Picnic
From noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, kids should bring their teddy bear and head to VonThun Farms in Washington for an afternoon that includes lunch, berry picking, meeting animals and other farm fun. VonThun Farms is located at 438 Route 57. Click here for tickets.
Shop At A Farmer's Market
Warren County has several community farmers' markets, as well as the multitude of local farm stores, with their own markets throughout the county, with local produce, meats, dairy, honey and other items.
The Warren County Farmers Market is on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Saturday through Sept. 26, at the White Township School at Routes 46 and 519, with local farmers and artisans out with produce, baked goods, products, live music and more. Visit their Facebook Page for details.
The Blairstown Farmers Market at 5 Stillwater Road is also on every Saturday through October 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Various farms and other sellers are there weekly with produce, pickles, gourmet mushrooms, empanadas, baked goods, pasta, honey and other items.
The Washington Borough Farmers' Market is at 44 East Washington Avenue, with local produce, flowers, eggs, handmade soaps and candles, handcrafted jewelry and more. Parking is free at the market, which runs Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Oct. 2.
