Proceeds will benefit three students currently fighting cancer.

is hosting a St. Baldricks event today featuring three  students fighting cancer. The community has raised over $1,400 so far.

Many will be shaving their heads, cutting their hair to make a wig, getting updos, spraying their hair green, and putting in green hair extensions. Shamrock pretzels will be sold and live entertainment will be on hand.

Also, Colin Hough, a freshman, will be making an appearance to watch his mother shave her head in solidarity with him going through radiation and chemotherapy treatments. He took a limo to his last appointment Thursday with some friends who donated the limo ride to the hospital.
