10-Year-Old Soapbox Racer From Hillsborough Will Take On International Race
While most kids his age are soaking up the dogs days of summer, Louis Bizzocois is preparing to enter the International Soap Box Derby.

While most kids his age are soaking up the dogs days of summer, 10-year-old Louis Bizzocois, of Hillsborough, is preparing to enter this year’s International Soap Box Derby, which he qualified for at the New Jersey Soap Box Derby on June 7.
Open to racers ages 7 through 19, The International Soap Box Derby, also known as “the greatest amateur racing event in the world”, has been running for 76 years, according to The Hillsborough Beacon.
Bizzocois won the stock division for racers ages 7-13 in the New Brunswick race and will take on other qualifying racers in Akron, Ohio the week of July 19-25.

Those placing behind Bizzocois were Aiden Smith (2nd place) and Alexander Gutierrez (3rd Place), according to njsbd.org.
