Annual Salute to Veterans, Memorial Day Parade Date Announced

The 10th Annual Salute to Veterans Breakfast and the Memorial Day Parade are scheduled for Saturday, May 23, according to Hillsborough Township.

Veterans Committee announced plans are underway for the Salute to Veterans Breakfast. Additionally, the township reported the Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony and parade planning are underway, as well. Hillsborough Township invited non-profit community organizations to sign up and participate in the parade.

“Those non-profit community organizations that wish to participate in the parade can sign up via the website,” Veterans Committee Liaison Carl Suraci said. “We will be providing more information shortly regarding the Salute to Veterans Breakfast registration as well as the formal dedication to the Veterans Way monument, but we wanted to make sure our residents had the date.”

According to Hillsborough Township, the community comes together each year to honor the service of all veterans during the annual Salute to Veterans Breakfast, Memorial Day Parade and Garden of Honor Commemoration Program.
