FRANKLIN, NJ — The Spray Park at Colonial Park in Franklin continues to remain closed due to mechanical difficulties.

"We will open as soon as possible! Thank you for your patience," said the Somerset County Park Commission.

The Somerset County spray park just can't seem to get off the ground. The park first opened in 2019, but sadly had to sit unused through the pandemic in 2020. The Somerset County Park Commission announced the reopening on June 29, 2021 of the 21-unit Spray Park located behind the Morgan Pellowski Playground.
