Somerset County Spray Park Is Now Open Following Electrical Issues

SOMERSET, NJ — Somerset County's Colonial Park Spray Park is now open for the summer season following electrical issues.

The Somerset County Park Commission announced the opening on Friday, June 30. The park will now be open daily from noon to 8 p.m. through Sept. 4.

The season opener was initially sent for Monday, June 26 but was closed following electrical issues, the County announced previously on June 22. Read More: Colonial Park Spray Park Closed 'Until Further Notice'

The 21-unit Spray Park is located behind the recently upgraded Morgan Pellowski Playground and in proximity to the Putting Course and Paddle Boats.

The 6,500 square foot Spray Park on 1.6 acres is a children-only facility with parents permitted to accompany small children.
