Driver Killed In Hillsborough Car Crash

The single-car crash was reported on New Centre Road on Wednesday morning.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A fatal car crash was reported on Wednesday morning in Hillsborough prompting New Centre Road to close for about three hours.

On Feb. 5 at 7:46 a.m., the Hillsborough Township Police responded and found an unconscious driver still in the driver's seat, said Hillsborough Police Sgt. Philip Wolff.

The driver was removed from the vehicle by responding officers and they began life-saving measures, said Wolff.

The driver was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Somerset where he was later pronounced dead.

This matter remains under investigation by the Hillsborough Police Department. If you have any
