Halloween Events Planned in Hillsborough Township

According to the Township of Hillsborough:

“Hillsborough Township’s Halloween Party is set for Thursday, October 29 at 4:30 pm at the Municipal Complex,” announced Committeeman Frank DelCore, Liaison to Parks and Recreation.

The Party will run from 4:30 pm –6:30 pm and will be complete with a hay ride to pick a pumpkin, a visit to the haunted house and goodie bags. Pre-registration is required and can be completed via the Hillsborough Township website.

“New this year, we will host our first ever Doggie Halloween Party at our new dog park at AVM, on Saturday, October 31stat 10:30 am, complete with a costume contest,” stated Committeeman DelCore.

The dog park, which opened over the summer, sits at the back corner of AVM Park, behind softball field #2, is double-gated and fenced in.

The area offers a leash free environment for dogs over the age of 6 months to socialize and exercise with their owners. Dogs must also be spayed or neutered and cannot show any signs of aggression.
