Hillsborough 8-Year-Old Baker Advances In Food Network TV Show
Spoiler alert: Benjamin Steinhauser of Hillsborough has advanced past the second week of Food Network's "Kid Baking Championship."

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Eight-year-old Benjamin Steinhauser of Hillsborough is still in the competition. The youngest baker ever to compete on Food Network's "Kid Baking Championship" has advanced through the second of the 10-week competition.
The second episode "Everything But The Kitchen Sink", which aired Monday night, had hosts and judges Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman challenge Steinhauser and 10 other young bakers to use three snack items — potato chips, pretzels and chocolate candies — in one kitchen sink dessert.
Steinhauser was among nine other contestants to survive. He advances to the third week where you can watch him compete again in the episode "Dessert Rivals" airing on Monday, Jan. 10 at 8 p.m.

If you missed Steinhauser's second episode, reruns will air on Thursday, Jan. 6 at 10 a.m. and Monday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m.
This is part of a 10-week competition to see who is the ultimate kid baking champion.
