Hillsborough Businessman, 21 Others From Somerset County Tapped To Aid Christie's Campaign

Former colleagues, friends join bid for the White House announced Tuesday.

Shortly after he publicly announced his candidacy Tuesday, Christie’s campaign announced more than 200 New Jersey residents – elected officials and businesspersons – have been tapped to help the Livingston native’s presidential run.

On his Political Leadership team, Christie named the following officials who represent Somerset County:

  • Leonard Lance, Congressman, NJ-07
  • Christopher “Kip” Bateman, State Senator, District 16
  • Anthony R. Bucco, State Senator, District 25
  • Jack Ciattarelli, Assemblyman, District 16
  • Donna Simon, Assemblywoman, District 16
  • Nancy Munoz, Assemblywoman, District 21
  • John DiMaio, Assemblyman, District 23
  • Erik Peterson, Assemblyman, District 23
  • Anthony R. Bucco, Jr., Assemblyman, District 25
  • Victor Sordillo, Committeeman
  • Janice Fields, Committeewoman
  • Al Gaburo, Chairman
  • Frank Provenzano, Sheriff
  • Brett A. Radi, Clerk
  • Brian Levine, Freeholder
  • Peter Palmer, Freeholder
  • Patricia Walsh, Freeholder
  • Patrick Scaglione, Freeholder
  • Mark Caliguire, Freeholder

The campaign has a mailing address of a Post Office Box in Morristown, and noted that individuals named for the financial leadership team are doing so in a personal capacity and are not representative of his or her company. Business names were provided for convenience.
