Hillsborough Historic Preservation Commission Member Honored For 22 Years Of Service
The proclamation congratulated Tim Johnson on his retirement and thanked him for his many years of service to Hillsborough.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Township resident Tim Johnson was honored by Mayor John Ciccarelli in recognition of his many years of service to Hillsborough.
Johnson served for 22 years with the Hillsborough Township Historic Preservation Commission. As a member, he provided technical advice to the committee and residents looking for guidance on projects, according to the proclamation Ciccarelli read at the June 24 Township Committee meeting.
Johnson has served on the Commission from 2003 to 2025, serving as Vice Chairman in 2005, 2006, 2015 and 2016.

He spearheaded two projects, The Gabriel House and JK Design which won county awards.
Johnson has been a Hillsborough resident for 28 years, worked in the financial industry, attained a postgraduate certification in Historic Preservation from Drew University, and then began his own
historic restoration company.

Johnson has been a member of the Sourland Conservancy since 2007, serving two terms on the Board of Directors, and since joining, has been one of the producers of the Sourland Mountain Festival.
"The Mayor and Hillsborough Township Committee, do hereby extend our congratulations on retirement to Tim Johnson and thank him for his many years of service to Hillsborough," according to the proclamation.
