Hillsborough Named Among Top 10 Family Friendly Towns In NJ

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Township has something to celebrate as it was recently named among the top 10 family-friendly towns in New Jersey.

Best US Moving, a national moving services website, named Hillsborough as number 9 on the list, "calling it a fast-growing, family-focused community," said Hillsborough Mayor John Ciccarelli at the Tuesday Committee meeting.

"Hillsborough was recognized for its parks, schools, and active community, as well as family-focused activities such as Family Fun Day and Memorial Day," said Ciccarelli.

"Hillsborough, NJ continues to grow while keeping its focus on families and education," according to Best US Moving in its ranking. "Because of its strong schools, active community, and family-friendly spaces, Hillsborough has become one of the most appealing places for new homeowners in Central New Jersey."

Two other Somerset County towns also made the list. Somerville came in at number 6 followed by Bridgewater at number 7.
