Hillsborough: PMA's Senior Meeting Services Manager Attends Global Conference

Andria LaJeunesse, CEM, Senior Manager, Meetings Services for Professional Management Associates (PMA) in Hillsborough, was among 25 global planners from top associations and corporations to participate in the Global Professionals Conference: Asia-Pacific, held in Melbourne, Australia, August 31-Spetember 3, 2015.

The conference, sponsored by the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) brings the highest-level global meetings professionals together to foster innovative thinking around business events. PCMA is the professional association for leaders in the meetings, convention, events, and trade show industries and has over 6,000 members in more than 39 countries.

The event included representatives from 12 countries around the world, featured interactive workshops, and peer-to-peer learning on conducting business in the Asia Pacific region.

“Attending the PCMA conference allowed us to not only gain a deeper understanding of cultural nuances, but also create a framework for planning and executing successful meetings in the Asia-Pacific region,” said LaJeunesse.
