June 23

  • Chenis Lopez-Quiroz, 28, of Bound Brook was arrested for hindering apprehension after he provided a false name and date of birth to an officer during a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. He was also charged with unclear plate, unlicensed driver and suspended driver’s license. Lopez-Quiroz was processed and released pending a court appearance.

  • Jesus Gonzalez-Martinez, 52, of Manville was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle was stopped by police on Route 206. He was also charged with failure to use signal before changing lanes, unlicensed driver, failure to wear seatbelt and refusal to submit to chemical testing. Gonzalez-Martinez was processed and released pending a court appearance.

July 3

  • Suzanne Staford-Harvey, 48, of Washington was arrested for driving under the influence after her vehicle was stopped by police on Route 206. Blood and urine results are pending laboratory analysis. Stanford-Harvey was processed and released pending a court appearance.

July 11

  • A contractor doing work at an Amwell Road business reported the theft of a tablet and a pair of sunglasses from his vehicle. Total value of the items was $390.00.

July 12

  • An Eves Drive resident reported someone entered their vehicle overnight and took an iPod accessory and some change. Value of the items was $40.00.

July 14

  • An employee at a Route 206 business reported the theft of a video game system, a video game, and some change from his vehicle while it was parked outside of the business. Total value of the items was $300.00.

July 17

  • A Wildflower Lane resident reported the theft of a gas grill sometime overnight from his backyard. Value of the grill and its cover was $725.00.
