Hillsborough Police Department Is Hiring Entry Level Officers

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough Township Police Department is hiring entry-level police officers.

Minimum qualifications include:

• U.S. Citizen and resident of the state of New Jersey at the time of appointment
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Must be 18 to 35 years of age
• Good moral character and temperament
• Good physical condition
• Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license at the time of appointment
• Must pass a physical fitness exam and oral interview

Physical Assessment is Oct. 4, written exam is Oct. 8.

Starting salary:

• Academy - $51,440
• After graduation - $58,726
• Top Salary - $152,799
