Hillsborough Police Report Several Men Arrested for Drug Possession, Others for DWI

In the latest incident blotter from the Hillsborough Police Department, a pair of men were arrested in separate incidents for drug possession and several others were arrested for driving under the influence.

3/17/2015: Oluwole Adeyomoye, 25, of Irvington was arrested for possession of Marijuana when it was found in his possession after his vehicle was stopped by police on Route 206. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, use of cell phone while driving and possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substance) in a motor vehicle. Adeyomoye was processed and released pending a court appearance.

3/22/2015: Philip Corroon, 40, of Hillsborough was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle was stopped by police on Route 206. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.17 percent. Corroon was also charged with failure to use turn signal, unlicensed driver and careless driving. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

3/23/2015: A tree service company reported sometime over the weekend, equipment was stolen out of several work trucks that were left parked in the parking lot of a Route 206 business. Value of the equipment was $2,880.

3/23/2015: Mark Panek, 56, of South Bound Brook was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Route 206. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.13 percent. Panek was also charged with failure to maintain lane, failure to change address, operating a motor vehicle with likelihood to cause an accident, commercial registration required and name and address required on a commercial motor vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

3/24/2015: John Maloney, 59, of Riverside, Illinois was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle was stopped by police on Route 206. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.13 percent. Maloney was also charged with failure to maintain lane, failure to keep right, failure to produce registration and careless driving. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

3/29/2015: Vitaliy Shtabnoy, 27, of Hillsborough was arrested for possession of Marijuana when it was found in his possession after his vehicle was approached by police on Merritt Drive. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Shtabnoy was processed and released pending a court appearance.
