Hillsborough Residents Complete Boston Marathon

Three Hillsborough Township residents completed the 119th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 20.

Michael N. Porter, 45; Kelly C. Burkett, 34; and Robert J. Stianchi, 32, all completed the 26.2 mile course through the Boston streets.

More than 30,000 people were expected to participate in the marathon, according to the Boston Globe. About one million spectators were also expected.

According to the 2015 Boston Marathon results, their times include:

• Porter completed the 26.2 mile course with an official time of 3 hours, 11 minutes and 57 seconds. His half marathon time was clocked at 1 hour, 35 minutes and 30 seconds.
• Burkett finished the marathon with an official time of 3 hours, 25 minutes and 4 seconds. Her half marathon time was recorded at 1 hour, 43 minutes and 18 seconds.
• Stianchi completed the course with an official time of 3 hours, 41 minutes and 42 seconds. His half marathon time was clocked at 1 hour, 29 minutes and 54 seconds.
