Hillsborough School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The first day of school in Hillsborough is September 6 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Hillsborough School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/6: First Day of School
• 9/10: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

November

• 11/6: No School (In-Service)
• 11/8 -11/9: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/16, 11/19, 11/20: Parent Teacher Conferences/Half Day (Grades K-6)
• 11/19, 11/20: Parent Teacher Conferences/Half Day (Grades 7-12)
• 11/21: Half Day (All Grades)
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/21 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• 3/22: No School (In-Service)

April

• 4/19 - 4/26: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/19: Half Day
• 6/20: Last Day of School/ Half Day/Graduation
