Additional contributions to the fund in Swickle’s honor will also be accepted. The brotherhood annually gives away more than $4,000 to help temple youth attend summer programs or conferences, according to the release. It also provides several merit scholarships to outstanding students as well as other scholarships to youths whose financial need might otherwise preclude their ability to continue their education.

The brotherhood is also honoring Joy Auerbach of Belle Mead with this year's youth award for demonstrating outstanding leadership and volunteer skills.
