Hillsborough Township Seeking Multi-Licensed Inspector
The township is looking for a multi-licensed inspector to enforce regulations and carry out field inspection.

Hillsborough Township announced it is seeking a multi-license inspector to perform the duties of a New Jersey certified inspector.
The township said the multi-licensed inspector will enforce regulations and carry out field inspection, checking the approved construction plans and specifications against actual construction at site locations. Additionally, the multi-licensed inspector will keep records of all inspections and make detailed reports of any inspections that are not approved, and check approved construction plans and actual construction for code compliance.
Furthermore, the multi-licensed inspector’s inspection responsibilities include Uniform Construction Code, the Barrier Free Code, the Radon Hazard Code, the Indoor Air Quality Code, underground storage tanks and the Asbestos Code, according to Hillsborough Township.

The position requires at least a high school diploma and job-related experience of at least three years, but less than five years job-related experience. Desired experience includes minimum ICS (Industrial Commercial Specialist) License in at least two Sub-code disciplines, the township said.
Applicants must also have a minimum of two of the following: RCS (Residential Commercial Specialist) Building Inspectors License, ICS (Industrial Commercial Specialist) in the Fire, Electrical and Plumbing Sub-code disciplines, according to Hillsborough Township.
