Hillsborough's Annual Fishing Derby And Family Campout
The Hillsborough Parks & Recreation is hosting both family-friendly events on Aug. 4.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Parks & Recreation will be hosting its annual Fishing Derby and Family Campout on Aug. 4.
Family Campout
The event will be held on Aug. 4 at Ann Van Middlesworth Park. Families are invited to bring a tent and enjoy a night of camping under the stars.
Activites will include games and a movie in the park. Hamburgers, hotdogs and snacks will be served along with a light breakfast the next morning.

Dinner is at 7 p.m. and breakfast at 7 a.m.
Cost is $10 per person for camping, dinner and breakfast.

David L. Thomas Sr. Memorial Fishing Derby
The event will be held on Aug. 4 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for ages 14 and under at Ann Van Middlesworth Park.
The pond is stocked with plenty of fish. Young fishing friends can compete to see who gets the biggest catch. Prizes will be awarded.
Cost is $5 per child.
