ICYMI: Hillsborough Resident Arrested, Shot Gun and Drugs Seized
Three arrests were made on Friday after police received word that the driver of a Nissan Altima was in possession of narcotics and a shotgun

Three arrests were made in Franklin Township on Friday after police received word that the driver of a white Nissan Altima with Virginia license plates in town was in possession of narcotics and a shotgun.
Those arrested were:
- Dynesha Jackson, 22, of Hillsborough Township,
- Adrienne Woodard, 22, of New Brunswick
- Lashawn Boyd, 19, of New Brunswick
According to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, police spotted a female driver, later identified as Woodard, driving the white Nissan Altima east on Amwell Road in Franklin Township. Police stopped the vehicle near Van Cleef Road.

“Somerset County Sheriff’s Office K-9 “Apex” and his handler responded to the scene to assist in the investigation, according to the prosecutor’s office. ”The K-9 conducted an exterior sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive indication for the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle.”
A search warrant was granted for the vehicle which resulted in the seizure of:

- a Pardner Pump 20 Gauge Shotgun
- 14 folds of heroin, in the center console of the passenger compartment
- four (4) 20 gauge shotgun shells, in the center console of the passenger compartment
- two bags of cocaine, in Jackson’s purse
All three suspects were placed under arrest without incident and housed at Somerset County Jail.
Woodard was charged with:
- Possession of a Rifle, 3rd Degree
- Possession of CDS (Heroin) 3rd Degree.
Jackson was charged with:
- Possession of CDS (Heroin) 3rd Degree
- Possession of CDS (Cocaine) 3rd Degree.
Boyd was charged with:
- Possession of CDS (heroin) 3rd Degree.
