Trapped Driver Rescued By Hillsborough Firefighters In Crash

The crash was reported on Amwell Road on Wednesday morning.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Firefighters rescued a driver trapped in a car following a crash in Hillsborough on Wednesday.

At around 8:30 a.m., Hillsborough firefighters were called to Amwell Road near the post office for a motor vehicle crash with a person trapped.

Firefighters "made fast work of accessing and removing one trapped driver," said Flagtown Fire/Rescue - Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co. #1.

The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Engine 38 helped with hazard control and debris clean-up. And Hillsborough Police and Robert Wood Johnson EMS also came to help.
