Learn to Tutor Literacy at Library Seminar
Literacy Volunteers of Somerset County set informational session for Aug. 26.

Interested in helping someone learn English?
A “Tutor Information Session” will be offered at the Hillsborough Library at 7 p.m. Aug. 26. Come and learn about Literacy Volunteers of Somerset County and their programs that help adults learn or improve their English literacy skills.
LVSC is looking for volunteers to become tutors and will be offering a Tutor Training Class starting on September 14, 2013. You can call LVSC at 908 724-5430 for more information.
Attention: The Hillsborough Library will be closed for Labor Day on Sept. 2.

Intro to Craigslist – Aug. 27 at 7 p.m.
Are you inexperienced or a novice when it comes to using Craigslist? Whether you're trying to sell your couch or find a bandmate, there are good ways and bad ways to approach the site. Join Somerset County Library System's Larry Sapienza for an introduction on how to get registered and start posting on Craigslist as a free venue for sales, advertising and searching.

Zumba – Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.
Zumba combines high energy music with unique moves and combinations that allow you to dance your way to a fitter you with exciting rhythms. Join us for an energizing five week series. As long as you are moving and having fun, there is no wrong way to Zumba! Wednesday 9/04, Tuesday 9/10, Wednesdays 9/18, 9/25, 10/02. Please remember to wear comfortable clothing and bring water.

Spend time making music with your little one! NOTE: Parents, in order to provide a safe environment for our youngest patrons, older siblings will not be allowed into this program.
Circus Place – Ages 9 – 18 only – Sept. 7 at 2:30 p.m.
Who needs Barnum & Bailey when the circus can come to you! Join us as The Circus Place brings its unique circus training program to the library. Pull the curtains back and learn how to juggle, balance on a tight rope, spin plates, and much, much more. You will walk out ready to perform your very own circus for your friends and families!
