Library Scavenger Hunt Today in Hillsborough

Part of the library's summer reading program.

Watch for the rain today, which will put an end to a pair of the clearest, coolest and most comfortable summer days we're likely to see for a while. By the time the skies clear again (which might not be until the weekend), the humidity will be higher.

But in the meantime, here's what to do in Hillsborough today.

Today, kids in kindergarten through the fifth-grade will be searching the book piles at the library for hidden treasures, as part of the summer "Dig Into Reading" program.

And if you're grocery shopping at ShopRite today, the Woodfern Elementary School HSA points out you can help local schools with the Box Tops for Education program: Earn more Box Tops and have a chance at winning 10,000 bonus box tops for your favorite school until Aug. 10.  You can get 25 bonus box tops when you buy any six participating General Mills Box Tops For Education products in a single visit (that's gets you the entry in the contest automatically—the complete rules are available at the customer service desk).
