Local Non-Profits Receive Spring 2015 Grant Awards
A number of different Hillsborough non-profits were recipients of grant awards at a Hillsborough Township Committee Meeting.

Affinity Hillsborough Rewards Credit Card Program issued Spring 2015 grant awards to a number of Hillsborough non-profit organizations earlier this month.
Six different township non-profits receive grants from the program, including Senior Group A, Senior Group B, Hillsborough Rockettes and Rocket, Steps Together, The Resource Center of Somerset and Girl Scouts Local Service Unit 72, according to Hillsborough Township.
“The continued usage on the rewards card are what make these awards possible; we
thank all of the cardholders who participate in the program and encourage all residents
to obtain an Affinity Hillsborough Rewards Visa Credit Card,” Committeeman Carl Suraci said in a release from the township. “It’s an easy way one can give back to our community while earning rewards at the same time.”

According to Hillsborough Township, the Affinity Hillsborough Rewards Credit Card program allows individuals or businesses to sign up for the special Hillsborough Township credit card that gives back a portion of every charge, in the form of grants to non-profit local youth and senior citizen groups as recommended by the Credit Card Advisory Committee and approved by the Township Committee.
The opening for the Fall 2015 grant applications will be announced later this year.
