Ax-Wielding Male Scared Residents on Halloween, Police Say

Hillsborough police are seeking information on a male who was reported seen in the area of Partridge Road with an ax at about 6:45 p.m. on Halloween.

The individual was first reported by an adult whose children became frightened and ran away while trick-or-treating on Partridge Road when they saw the individual. The children said they had seen the person earlier in the day riding a minibike while wearing a wolf mask and carrying the ax.

Police also said a resident walking her dog encountered the individual, who raised the ax in a threatening way before running away.
