New Infrared Sauna, Dry Float Bed Help To Heal, Detox At Hillsborough Spa

Hillsborough local Alaina Molesko, who owns The Salty Moon an all-inclusive wellness center, is offering even more healing options for all.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Continuing on her mission to help heal her community, Township local Alaina Molesko shared some new features at her all-inclusive wellness center The Salty Moon.

Hillsborough mother of three Molesko opened The Salty Moon Wellness Center at 390 Amwell Rd., Suite 508, in Hillsborough(behind ShopRite and next to AutoZone) after going on a self-healing journey of her own that began when she was 16 years old.

The spa is now offering the Sunlighten Infrared Sauna, which, unlike conventional saunas, penetrates deeply into muscles, joints, and tissues to promote therapeutic benefits such as detoxification, pain relief, improved circulation, radiant skin, and skin reduction.

Molesko also added a dry float bed, which mimics the feeling of weightlessness and promotes deep relaxation, spinal decompression, and improved circulation without getting wet.

Two new estheticians were also hired, offering natural eyelash extensions and brow shaping without wax.

Another new feature is the inHarmony Sound Lounge.

"It's really good for autistic children or children on the spectrum, because they like the vibration. We do have a lot of kids that enjoy using the sound lounge because it is immersive with noise-canceling headphones, and the music they're listening to has binaural beats, which actually can change the brainwave into a more relaxed state, and then the bed vibrates in tune with the music," said Molesko.

She said it also benefits people who have "gone through physical trauma, mental trauma, or are on the spectrum."

Other services include introductory cryoskin, facial massages, and a very unique floor-to-ceiling salt cave for adults and children.

"There's no salt room like it anywhere in a 30-mile radius," said Molesko to Patch.

Adults and children can enter the floor-to-ceiling salt cave that offers optical twinkle lights in the ceiling, along with red light therapy and infrared.

Molesko said she has customers who come to use the Salt Cave who are suffering from cancer or Lupus, have ADHD, have stress or anxiety, have trouble sleeping, and more.

"Our mission statement is still the same. We want to help heal the community and their families, but we're also trying to promote employment," said Molesko, who welcomes entrepreneurs and creators to showcase their products at her center.

Molesko is a Licensed Esthetician, Certified Sound Therapist, and has obtained a vast knowledge through her working experience and training. Her main focus is on the combination of medical-backed studies and spiritual healing. She is well-versed in holistic and homeopathic health and wellness. She also enjoys working with the moon energy.
