Railroad Malfunction, Construction Closes 2 Roads In Hillsborough

Hillsborough Police sent out an alert about the closure on Monday morning.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A railroad malfunction and road work have closed two roads in Hillsborough on Monday, announced Hillsborough Police in an alert.

Due to a malfunction, the railroad crossing on Beekman Lane is down. Drivers are asked to plan an alternate route.

Additionally, Woods Road is closed for road work on Monday between Amwell Road and Pembroke Terrace from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drivers are asked to follow the posted detour.
