Robotics Team 75 Sets Seventh-Annual BoroBlast Event
Event introduces younger enthusiasts to world of competitive robotics—and problem-solving.

Area middle school students gathering at Hillsborough High School Nov. 23 to try their hands at building robots will get a hand from some more experienced builders.
The seventh annual BoroBlast Robotics Tournament, hosted by Hillsborough High School Robotics Team 75, will feature 26 teams competing to build the best FIRST Lego League robot, as well as tackle this year's Nature's Fury challenges.
The event will begin with robotics workshops, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., introducing the young students and their parents to robotics and the robotic competition.
Then, they'll see what it takes to build a robot: putting together a gear box, wiring a toy robot, and even trying computer animation.
Participants can see two of Team 75’s amazing robots up close and in action—they may even get a chance to try driving one of them.
Lunch and snacks will be available throughout the day.
Admission is free but you can help Team 75 support the local food pantry by dropping off canned goods and other non-perishable foods at BoroBlast.
