Splash Park Remains Closed For Repairs In Somerset County
The Somerset County spray park at Colonial Park in Franklin has been closed since Monday.
SOMERSET, NJ — The Somerset County spray park at Colonial Park in Franklin has been closed since Monday.
The park remains closed as of Wednesday due to mechanical issues, said Somerset County Spokesman Nathan Rudy.
The Somerset County Parks Commission announced the closure on Monday.

The Somerset County spray park has hit a number of issues since its first opening in 2019. Due to the pandemic, the park had to sit unused through 2020. The 21-unit Spray Park located behind the Morgan Pellowski Playground reopened in 2021 but also hit mechanical issues and remained closed for most of the summer.
