Spray Park At Colonial Park Reopens After Month Closure
It's hot outside and perfect timing for the Spray Park at Colonial Park to reopen after being closed for over a month.
SOMERSET, NJ — The Spray Park at Colonial Park is now open after being closed for over a month.
The park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sept. 6 at 156 Mettlers Rd. in Somerset, the Somerset County Park Commission announced Friday.
The Somerset County spray park first opened in 2019, but sadly had to sit unused through the pandemic in 2020. The Somerset County Park Commission announced the reopening on June 29, 2021 of the 21-unit Spray Park located behind the Morgan Pellowski Playground.

However, the park was closed on July 7, only one week after opening due to mechanical difficulties. The spray park has finally reopened as of Aug. 13.
