Tree Falls, Pins 76-Year-Old Man Against Tractor In Montgomery

The man was flown by medevac to a nearby hospital on Wednesday.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — A 76-year-old Montgomery man was hospitalized after a tree fell on him while riding a tractor on Wednesday, said police.

At around 4:26 p.m., Montgomery Police, Montgomery EMS, and Montgomery Fire Company Number 2 went to Hollow Road near Servis Road for a reported traumatic injury.

The patient, a 76-year-old man, was driving a tractor in a wooded area when a tree fell on him, pinning him to the tractor, said Montgomery Police Lt. Jason Larsen.

Due to the remote location, the Montgomery Police side-by-side utility vehicle was used to help bring rescue workers to the patient and bring the patient out of the woods.

The patient was flown by medevac to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick for treatment. His current condition remains unknown.
