Water Main Break Closes Amwell Road In Hillsborough

Somerset County Public Safety sent out an alert about the closure around 3 p.m. on Monday.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A water main break has closed Amwell Road in Hillsborough, announced Somerset County Public Safety in an alert on Monday.

The road is closed from E Mountain Road to River Road. A detour has been set up, drivers are asked to plan accordingly.

The road closure is anticipated to continue until Tuesday at around 5 a.m., said Hillsborough Police.

Police will send out an updated alert with any new information.
