This is what you need to know for Friday.
- The Sparta Township Public Library presents The Royal Children's Show, a musical event fearing international children's singer-songwriter Mirian Rosenberg. Expect the concert to be fun, tuneful and uplifting for your kids—and it's free. The event takes place Friday from 4-5 p.m. in the large meeting room on the lower level. The library is at 22 Woodport Road in Sparta.
- Ronnie's Dance Studio in Andover offers a new three-session class that fuses modern belly dancing and Bollywood. The combo is called Bellywood, and classes will run for the next three Fridays in Octoberfrom 6:40-7:40 p.m.  The cost is $28 for all three weeks; drop-ins are welcome at $10 a session only for this Friday and Oct. 18.  Ronnie's Dance Studio is at 393 Maxim Drive. If belly dancing is not your cup of Joe, consider Salsa Dancing Lessons.
