Sparta Township To Begin Christmas Tree Curbside Pick-Up

Christmas trees must be put out at the curb no later than Jan. 17, according to Sparta Township officials.

SPARTA, NJ — Following the holiday season, Sparta Township’s Public Works Department is getting read to pick up residents’ used Christmas trees.

No additional branches or tree parts will be collected at this time, township officials stressed.

According to officials, the trees must be bare with no stands, ornaments, lights, tinsel, bags, etc. Residents are also asked to be sure to secure trees off the street and along the curb for collection.
