Active Shooter Training Event Scheduled At School In Howell: See When, Where

Howell police issued a notice about the training session, which will include a large law enforcement presence.

HOWELL, NJ — There will be an active shooter training session on Tuesday afternoon and evening at Howell Middle School South, Howell Township police said.

The police department issued a notice about the session the police department is hosting, called the Western Monmouth Active Shooter Partnership Training.

"This training will be taking place after school hours until late in the evening," Howell police said. "There is no need to be alarmed by the large group of officers who will be on scene."
