Composting Workshop Offered In Howell

Howell Township residents can learn how to compost in their backyards to reduce waste and nourish their gardens.

HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township Green Team is offering a free backyard composting workshop on Saturday for residents to learn how to reduce waste and improve their soil.

The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Howell Organic Community Gardens at the corner of Adelphia and Squankum Yellowbrook roads in Howell.

The workshop will offer valuable tips and tricks on how to turn your kitchen scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich compost for your garden offered by the Monmouth County Master Composters, the event description said.
