Cyclist Struck, Seriously Injured On Route 9 In Howell

HOWELL, NJ — A cyclist was struck Saturday on Route 9 near the intersection with East Aldrich Road, according to the Howell Township Police Department.

The cyclist was seriously injured, police said.

The left lane of Route 9 northbound was closed while officials investigated the incident.

"Howell Police are currently on scene investigating a bicyclist that was struck by a vehicle," police said Saturday.

Drivers were warned to avoid the area of the incident.
