HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township and Freehold Regional High school districts have announced 90-minute delayed openings for Wednesday due to the weather.

The National Weather Service forecast has predicted 3 to 4 inches of snow across most of Monmouth County beginning Tuesday afternoon and continuing through 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

The Howell Township Public Schools delay means the PAL Before Care Programs are canceled, officials said.

In addition, Howell officials are reminding residents to remove anything from the streets to allow plows to clear the roads, including portable basketball hoops, disabled vehicles, and garbage cans.

Because of the possible snow accumulation, curbside recycling pickup could be delayed for Zone H, officials said.
