Howell Gas Station Taco Shop Gets Brick-And-Mortar Restaurant

FARMINGDALE, NJ - Would you try gas station tacos?

Plenty of Howell residents have - at the El Buen Taco stand in the Delta gas station mart at 2001 Route 9 North - to the chorus of rave reviews.

“Will definitely be back! Best food I've ever had at a gas station,” one Facebook reviewer wrote.

“Fantastic Food, and in a gas station go figure! This place is awesome,” another said.

Now, El Buen Taco’s owners are taking their business to the next level with a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Farmingdale.

“We continue to work hard to give the best to our customers,” El Buen Taco wrote in a social media update on Sunday, posted alongside a logo and address for The Taco House & Grill at 72 Main St. in Farmingdale.

“In order to provide a better service to our customers, we have decided to move to [a] bigger place,” the business wrote in a separate post, adding that it will vacate the gas station for good following the move.

The new location will stand at the former location of Downtown Burger, which closed earlier this year. An opening date has yet to be announced.
