Howell Summer Camp Registration Open For 2022

HOWELL, NJ — Summer fun is just around the corner. Signups for summer camps in Howell are now open to get the planning started.

Here's a look at some camps planned for the summer of 2022 in the Howell area:

Summer Youth Basketball: This summer program is a recreational league hosted by Howell Township Police Athletic League. The goal of the camp is to have kids come out and have fun playing the game of basketball. The league will run for 6 weeks and is strictly games, no practices. Nature Kids: Calling all little nature lovers! This camp explores our natural world through discovery hikes, cooperative games, kid-friendly nature crafts and best of all, meeting live animals. LEGO Robot Camp: Camp leaders will use their Lego Robotics to code and create your child's favorite sports, video games and carnival games. They will use the engineering design process to recreate and invent games for fellow inventors to play. This camp is hosted by Howell Township Police Athletic League. Click here to register.

Youth Law Enforcement Academy: The camp will be an intense week of training, exposing your child to many facets of police work. This program will introduce your child to the skills and techniques a police officer acquires while going through a certified police academy. Contact the Howell Township Police Athletic League for more information.

Beginner Golf Camp: This camp is for the person that has little to no experience playing golf. Participants will be introduced to the game of golf. There will be two price options for the camp.

• Option 1: $400 camp session that includes lunch Monday to Thursday and beginner golf clubs.
• Option 2: $200 camp session that includes lunch Monday to Thursday but kids must bring their own golf clubs.

Howell Recreation summer programs: Camp dates are from June 27 to July 29. They have a variety of camps for all age ranges and include fun excursions to Rockville Climbing Center and River Tubing. Registration for these camps began on April 4.
