Howell's 8th Annual 5K To Benefit Suicide Prevention
The course will go through roads in Howell and Farmingdale. Here's how you can sign up:
HOWELL, NJ — Registration is open for the Annual Howell Township/Farmingdale 5K Run & Race Walk, happening this year on Aug. 25.
Now in its eighth year, the sporting event will benefit Contact of Ocean & Monmouth Counties, a crisis intervention and suicide prevention hotline.
Those who can't make it but still want to participate can race virtually. Either way, regular registration is $30 and can be done online on this page. The fee is $15 for people 19 years old and under.

The course will go through roads in Howell and Farmingdale, with the starting point by the Howell High School’s Athletic Complex.
The race is also being held in memory of people who lost their lives in personal battles, struggles and illness. The 5K will honor the following late New Jersey residents:
