NJ Weekend Weather: Mostly Sunny, Rain Possible At Jersey Shore

JERSEY SHORE, NJ —The weather will be mostly sunny at the Jersey Shore over the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

However, by Sunday it will be a bit more cloudy and there's even a 50 percent chance of rain.

According to the forecast, winds will be between 5 to 10 mph on Saturday.

There is a risk of marine hazards during the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

There's a limited possibility of wind or wind gusts equal to or greater than 34 knots and waves eight feet or higher. On Sunday, winds may be greater than 25 feet and waves may be larger than five feet.

Here's the latest forecast:

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 47. Breezy, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39. North wind around 15 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Saturday: NightMostly cloudy, with a low around 44.

Sunday: Cloudy, with a high near 58.

Sunday Night: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 50. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
